What are powder brows?

Powder brows (also called shading or ombré brows) are a machine-based eyebrow tattoo technique that deposits pigment in soft, overlapping dots to create a diffused powdered finish. The result looks like beautifully filled-in brow makeup — softer at the head and slightly more saturated through the body and tail.

Unlike microblading, powder brows do not draw individual hairstrokes. They give your brows colour, shape and density without the hair-by-hair illusion — a calmer, more uniform aesthetic that ages exceptionally well.

Powder brows vs microblading vs nano brows

Microblading creates manual hairstrokes — sharp, defined, hair-like. Best on normal-to-dry skin.

Nano brows create machine hairstrokes — soft, pixelated, hyper realistic. Best on most skin types.

Powder brows create soft shading — makeup-finished, diffused, no individual strokes. Best when you want a polished, made-up look that holds beautifully on every skin type.
